Learn defense like slipping and rolling, boxing combinations, fancy footwork, and partner padwork with our signature boxing class powerbox. We also have a signature metcon class MegaBLAST designed to challenge your strength, motor skills, endurance, and power.

This class is structured to build a firm foundation in Boxing e.g. basic guard, footwork, correct execution of strikes and defence techniques in a controlled and supervised environment with pro and amateur boxing coaches.

 

Students will also learn bag work, pad work develop reaction techniques using our unique state of the art reaction lights, how to hold and strike pads/ bags correctly and lastly how to put on hand wraps.

 

Strong emphasis on fitness, building (slowly and progressively), aerobic, anaerobic fitness, core strength, flexibility and coordination in a fun and friendly environment.

What can I expect from my first session?
From your first session you are going to expect a laughter, sweat and maybe tears! 
 
Tears of joy that is as you will be pleased you have found such a great class that combines boxing, HiiT and strength training all led by England boxing coaches or boxers who are there to help you get the most out of the class.
When are the sessions?

Do you have to be fit before a fitness class?
You don’t have to fit before doing a BLAST class as all classes are tailored to meet all levels and adapted were necessary. 
How often should I have a personal training?

How often you have a personal training session is based on speed of wanting to achieve your goals and what level of membership you can afford.

 

3 sessions per week will get you to your goals quicker than once per week.

How long is a fitness class?

A BLAST class is a 45 minute workout that is based around 6 zones – CV, Strength, Core, Cardio, Power and Reaction. You get 2 minutes in each zone to do the best you can. In every class we measure your metrics so you can chart your progress and see the gains week on week.

What do the classes aim to improve? Strength, fitness, tone?
The classes at BLAST are a combination of boxing and HiiT strength training. You are going to work multiple muscles in multiple ways that are going to lead to fantastic gains in cardiovascular health, muscle strength and endurance while learning boxing techniques to a great soundtrack.
How many people in a class?
We keep the classes limited to 8 at a time to ensure all participants receive individual coaching throughout the class. Our coaches will see every rep and will encourage you to get the maximum out of every zone.
The coaches here are of the highest standard and have always got your back and really help get you out of the “I can’t do it” mindset! It really is a really pleasure to train here, the community that go here are the best and we help each other along when it gets tough!
